"“What Artists did in Lockdown” was suggested by a recent TV series “What do Artists do all day?” the implication being they laze around a lot. Accusations abound that for some folk Lockdown was a bit of a doddle. Most Artists probably worked harder during the pandemic. What else could they do? Lock down in the studio was what they always claimed they wanted.

My picture has them dog training, bank robbing, building model battleships out of matchsticks, watching the television, falling off a ladder (whoops!) etc. etc. One artist keeps going, the obsessive self portraitist."
